| Name: | Millicent Morsus |

| Birthdate: | 10-22 |
| The Basics |
Character Name: Millicent Serilda Morsus. PB: Ash. Age: Twenty. Birthday: October 22, 1979. Wand: Eleven inches, rigid, mulberry, heartstring from a Ukrainian Ironbelly dragon. House in School: Slytherin. Bloodline: Pureblood. Political View: Strict conservative, Death Eater, idealist. Bordering extremist. |
| Appearance |
Height: Tall for a woman, especially a German woman, Millicent stands at 5'9" on flat feet, but her love for heeled shoes, she's often standing around the 6' mark. Weight: 145 lbs. Eyes: dark hazel. Hair: Long, black. Typically left down, or pulled back into a low ponytail. Build: Toned from being an avid flyer, broad shoulders, fleshy curves. Dress Style: Classic wizarding styles ranging from robes to dresses very reminiscent of the Victorian age. Millicent is very meticulous and very selective in what goes into her wardrobe. Most of the things she owns aren't very practical, but that's not much of a concern for her. Basic Physical Description: Not exactly what most people would call attractive, Millicent has a wide, round face, defined by mass amounts of long black hair, large cold eyes which are hazel in colour, and a heavy-set jaw. The uncommonly broad shoulders and wide back she had as a youngster were both things she grew into, her frame filling out properly. Even still she has her broad shoulders, something that ironically amplifies the arrogant and predatory way that she holds herself. Her skin tone could best be described as pale. It fluctuates as is typical for most, her skin being darker during the warmer months, and lighter as it turns cool. Before the fall of Voldemort she had the Dark Mark branded on her left arm, however that disappeared at the same time Voldemort did. Millicent honestly misses the mark, and often times looks down in hopes of seeing it still there. Defining Marks: A few relatively small war scars. |
| Personality |
Passionate. Idealist. Capable. Millicent is a curious mix of rationality and passion, she's an idealist without being an extremist, which gives her a cool head, and the ability to think before she acts. Her capabilities and experience are the backing force of her ambition for whatever goal she has at the moment, and there's always a goal to be had. She's rational and realistic, however she's not a very patient person, which makes her prone to jump to conclusions. She's a hard person to get along with because of her overwhelming love to hate, but when it comes down to it, Millicent is a very social being. She loves attention, she loves to entertain, a natural born hostess if you will. Because of that inherent need inside of her she can also be quite charming and alluring. She has a bit of an intellectual streak inside of her that's noticeable once you get passed everything else. A definite Slytherin to boot, the qualities that placed her in the house include the trademark ambition, and cunning nature, but also her determination, her passion, her conservative nature, and her adoration for competition. Surprising to most, Millicent is capable of tremendous loyalty. Her loyalty to herself, however, is far greater than anything she could possibly feel for anyone else. She's a very driven person, and when give a task becomes very focused on it. Even still her personality can border on reckless on occasions, which is most likely brought on by her insatiable lust for the destruction of others, and the very things they find comfort in. No one, not even her husband or family, is safe from for that need. When things don't go as she had planned them Millicent is bad tempered. She'll pick fights on purpose and stalk about, and subject to situation will break things and yell at anything that could be considered living. Those tantrums are few and far between, but they're very, very ugly. All things aside Millicent is a very passionate person. She thrives off excitement and the rush of life that comes through it. She values her freedom, which seems ironic given her strict conservative, pureblood ideals, but her passion simply to live is one of the many things that fuel those very ideals. As for Millicent's associations with others, it was difficult to gain her respect. The Malfoy name, like so many purebloods, had her respect simply by default. With that much power, prominence, and wealth how could she not? Her respect for the family falls short, however, when it comes to Draco. He's never come off much more than a snobbish little brat in her opinion, both in and outside of school. She kept her tongue in spite of that opinion, because in spite of it all, he still is a Malfoy. Her thoughts regarding the younger Malfoy did not change much through the war, and lessened even more when she had learned of his defection. The elder Malfoy, of course, is the opposite story, thinking of Lucius Malfoy in the highest of regards. She has her suspicions that his pardon from the war was bought, due to the prominent reason why he had been captured and put into Azkaban, which just reaffirms the resourcefulness she respected in him. Another Death Eater she respected among the higher ranks was Severus Snape. The transition from being his student to being a fellow Death Eater was a little strange, but it was never an issue she had to deal with because of the nature of her involvement. Millicent found Snape to be an excellent teach, and Head of House. He had been demanding during her years at Hogwarts, and expected nothing less than perfection from his students. That respect reflected over into the war, and like most of the other Death Eater, Millicent never had any suspicions of Snape's loyalty to Voldemort. He had been the one who killed Dumbledore after all. Even after being pardoned from the war, and being renounced as a spy, Millicent still believes that Snape never really fully supported the Order. What she knew of his personality didn't fit the Order's ultimate goals. On the flip side of the war there was Harry Potter. There needn't be any questions raised as to Millicent's hatred for the wizard. Aside from being the cause of the fall of the Dark Lord, Millicent had always seen Potter as being an attention seeking, obnoxious, unkempt half-blood. One who always got away with everything simply because he was "Harry Potter." Her hatred only grew for him when he did eventually kill Voldemort, almost to an irrational level. She also blames him for why she, and her family, is under such strict Ministry observation, which just adds fuel to the fire. |
| Psychology |
Extrovert/Introvert: Like most people Millicent is a mix of both. She's a far cry from being shy, or quiet. She's vocal with her opinions, and she's rather fond of the sound of her own voice. Whatever is on her mind, she'll tell you, and it's usually not very nice. However Millicent is very closed with her emotions, her feelings, the things that should really matter she's quiet and keeps very well hidden. Everyone knows what Millicent is thinking, but no one actually knows who she is. Boggart Would Be: The Erkling, a dark elfin creature that would lure small children away from their family and kill them. Perhaps more than a bit trite, growing up as a young child in Germany the tale of Erlköeing terrified Millicent, and the irrational fear stuck with her as she grew older. Patronus Would Be: Millicent cannot produce a Patronus, however if she ever learned how, it'd be a fox. The fox represent a multitude of things in many different cultures. Most popular is the symbol of cunning, intelligence, and trickery, however the fox is also a strong symbol for the true value of intangible things, such as friendship and love, which is strongly seen in numerous French stories. In both Chinese and Japanese folklore the fox is synonymous with sexuality, sex appeal, and promiscuity. Foxes are often seen as overtly cautious and skittish creatures, however those are both things Millicent associates with survival. Ironically if Millicent were ever to ever become an Animagus, she would take the form of a white (arctic) fox. |
| Sexuality |
Millicent is very heterosexual, the thought of being otherwise never crossing her mind once. Why? That's just how she was wired. She's more than a bit condescending towards homosexuality, however it's more of a quiet distaste than a vocal one. Throughout school she never really dated, she was picky, far too elitist, and never found anyone who could live up to the standards she set. Never putting much faith in the ideas of love, what few relationships she did have were quick, sordid, meant absolutely nothing. "Touch" is infinitely important to Millicent, and as such she's very sexually forward, and does not shy away from closeness with another body. She could almost be considered a sensory whore, finding most of her pleasure, sexual or not, in the act of physical contact, not the reactions and stimulus to said contact. What interests her the most is the bodies control over the mind when pleasure of pain is inflicted on a person and takes great pleasure in pushing the boundaries of both those sensations on others. With that said, Millicent is not promiscuous whatsoever. On August 13, 1999 she married her Death Eater partner, and school friend, Montague Morsus. They're still married, and while Millicent isn't too concerned with the faithfulness of her husband, there's very little doubt that she'll ever involve herself with any kind of sexual interaction with another person. Her relationship with her husband is a very curious one, one built off a mutual lust for the destruction of one another, though neither wold dare admit such a thing aloud, or even to themselves really. |
| Lifestyle |
Occupation: Unemployed. There has never been a need for Millicent to work, which is the soul reason why she does not have a job. That does not mean she will never have one it just means that nothing holds her attention for long enough to merit interest in pursuing a career in it. Residence: Currently Millicent and Montague are living a very comfortable life in England's north-west county of Cumbria, at the Morsus Mansion in Carlisle. Financial Status:Very well off. Millicent comes from old money, and married into a wealthy family during the war. |
| Family |
Parents: Maynard Bulstrode, and Fuscienne Bulstrode, nee Von Schreiber were both active Death Eaters. Maynard being more passionate about what being a Death Eater means, while Fuscienne was involved more for the opportunity to obtain greater power and strength. Millicent is surprisingly close with her father, and as close to her mother as someone could possibly get with a woman such a Fuscienne. Fuscienne is a strong woman, powerful and extremely influential, she was an excellent teacher, but someone that most would consider a questionable mother. The closest thing to emotion that Fuscienne expressed was when she decided her son's second name would be Adalrico, the male form of her mother's name. Emotional detachment, Fuscienne was cold, disturbingly so, almost completely devoid of feeling. Those qualities are the things that made her the excellent businesswoman that she was, which almost doubled the worth of her family's respectable fortune, and continued to grow when she married into the Bulstrode family. Another well known German pureblood family that comfortably fit into the middle of upper class wizarding society. Maynard is a man of action, constantly moving, constantly doing. Rest isn't a thing he's ever had the time to bother with, a workaholic tendency that both his children inherited. As far as interest levels go, there's not much anyone would consider special about Maynard. He's a man who can get things done, but aside from his resourcefulness and his motivation, there's not much else to him. Siblings: An older brother of eight years, Rayner Adalrico Bulstrode. He's currently unwed and still living in Germany, working as a higher level businessman in the broom making industry. Millicent couldn't tell you for what company off the top of her head, her relationship with her brother died completely during the war, much to Millicent's fervent relief. Sibling rivalry ran strong between the two in an effort to prove themselves the better child. Millicent had always been the slightly obvious "favourite", her idealistic and devout nature gave her the edge that Rayner simply never had in him. A wizard very much like his father, but lacking in a quality that makes Maynard seem so impressive. The Bulstrode's and Von Schreiber's were both relatively small families. Fuscienne was an only child, her mother Adalheidis dying shortly after her birth in 1949 from mysterious circumstances. When Millicent was eight years old her aunt Violetta and uncle Wilhelm, twins from her father's side of the family, died from related heart problems they had struggled through all of their lives. That left Rayner, who had been fifteen at the time of their death, the only male to carry on the Bulstrode name. |
| History from student days at Hogwarts to the present time |
Millicent was the first of her immediate family to be schooled at Hogwarts, everyone from her brother on having gone to Durmstrang. It was a proud moment when she had been sorted into Salazar Slytherin's house, a house she was clearly suited perfectly for. She had hardly been a popular student, many students, including her own housemates, were put off by her almost peculiar idiosyncrasies, her darker than necessary tastes, and her love for confrontation. She had a knack for picking fights and being able to get away with them, most of the time anyway. Millicent loved to hate, and did so exceedingly well. That's not to say that she didn't have her friends and allies, she had many. She was, after all, an intelligent and an extremely capable witch. In her fifth year Millicent, along with a few of her other fellow Slytherin's, joined Umbridge's Inquisitorial Squad, which is about as involved as she got with the school outside of her academic work. During her years at Hogwarts she had turned into an avid Quidditch fan, and quite the flyer, however her skills for the game were never quite up to par, and therefore she never tried out for her house's team. Millicent was pulled from Hogwarts once Dumbledore had been killed. Once the Head Master was down Millicent's parents knew the war was coming up fast and instead had her home schooled, preparing her for the war, techniques on improving her attack and defense skills in dueling, she had to be quick if she were to become a Death Eater. And she did. When Millicent turned seventeen she bowed down before Voldemort and received the Dark Mark. As proof to her ability and her loyalty, it was also then that Millicent, for the very first time, took the life of another. The action had left a profound effect on her, making the war, the Death Eaters, and her newfound position as one very, very real. She never was directly on any battlefield, never fought directly in the war. As a Death Eater she functioned to help keep the shock factor high. She went on many missions to torture and maim muggles, muggle-born, half-bloods, and occasionally even purebloods. Often times, more often than not, she was paired up with another ex-Hogwarts student, Montague Morsus, the pair worked together almost flawlessly So it only made sense that on August 13, 1999 Millicent married her partner Montague. The sticky emotion of love might have played some influence in the decision, but too much pride on either side made the reason for marriage about economic and social status for the both of them. They both moved out to the Morsus Mansion in Carlisle in England's not-west county of Cumbria, and still live there to date. After the war both Millicent and Montague had been suspected of Death Eater activity, however their constant discretion kept any tangible proof impossible to find. Even still, Millicent's soap-box tendencies about pureblood supremacy was more than enough suspicion for her to be put on the Ministry's Registry. |
